These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the ImplantAuthority website and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by ImplantAuthority, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What ImplantAuthority is — and isn't
ImplantAuthority is an editorial consumer information service focused on full-mouth dental implants. We help patients understand their options, see realistic pricing ranges, and find manually-vetted implant dentists.
- We are not a dental practice. We do not diagnose, treat, or otherwise provide dental services.
- We are not a lender, broker, credit-decision provider, or financial advisor. Where we link to financing partners we are simply a referral source.
- Listing on our directory is not an endorsement. It means we have performed the documented verification checks for that listing tier. Final judgment about who to choose is yours.
Editorial and informational content
All content on the Service — articles, guides, pricing pages, vetting reports, FAQs — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical, dental, legal, or financial advice and is not a substitute for in-person evaluation by a licensed professional. See our Medical Disclaimer for more detail.
We work hard to keep content accurate and current. Pricing varies by case, geography, and practice; our published ranges reflect typical consumer-paid amounts, sourced and reviewed quarterly. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, price, or treatment fit.
Your obligations
When using the Service, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate information when you submit a form (lead, application, removal request, contact form).
- Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any practice.
- Not scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content from the Service except by means we explicitly authorize (such as our sitemap and public APIs at their documented rate limits).
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service's security controls.
- Not use the Service to harass, abuse, defame, or threaten any person.
- Comply with all applicable laws.
Dentists who register or claim listings
If you submit a practice application or claim an existing listing on behalf of a practice, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the information you supply is accurate, complete, and not misleading. We may decline applications, suspend listings, or remove listings at our sole discretion based on our published vetting criteria. Additional terms specific to dentists are referenced in the dentist application flow and will be incorporated into a separate dentist agreement (in development).
Financing partners and affiliate compensation
We may earn referral fees from financing partners and from certain listed dentists. Editorial content (guides, pricing methodology, vetting reports) is produced independently of these relationships and is not contingent on referral compensation. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Intellectual property
The Service — including text, design, code, logos, graphics, and organized data — is owned by ImplantAuthority or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view, share links to, and quote our content under standard fair-use principles (with attribution), but you may not reproduce or redistribute substantial portions of the Service without prior written permission.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or treatment outcomes of any listed dentist or any financing partner. Your relationship with any dentist or lender is solely between you and that provider.
Limitation of liability
ATTORNEY-REVIEW. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ImplantAuthority and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold ImplantAuthority harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if continuing to provide the Service would put other users at risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive — including intellectual-property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-resolution provisions.
Governing law and disputes
DRAFT — governing-law state to be locked once entity formation is complete. These Terms will be governed by the laws of the state of formation of ImplantAuthority, LLC, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
ATTORNEY-REVIEW — arbitration and class-action waiver: Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You and ImplantAuthority each waive the right to participate in any class or representative action. This clause does not apply to small-claims-court matters or to either party's right to seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property infringement. Specific procedural rules (seat of arbitration, opt-out window, fee allocation) will be finalized by counsel before launch.
Changes to these Terms
We will update these Terms as our service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material changes we will provide more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability and contact
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
